Description

Although it was only discovered in 1971, Queztalcoatlus is the largest creature to ever take to the sky. Due to the massive size of the Queztalcoatlus, it is believed that they were not able to fly but could glide for hundreds of feet at a time. Queztalcoatlus is a pterosaur, or flying reptile, not a dinosaur. Contrary to its name, Queztalcoatlus likely did not have feathers.
