The Agouti in this photo is in it's enclosure faced away from the camera walking toward the left side of the frame. It is walking on gray ground that is covered with seeds that the Agouti has just finished eating. The rear end of the Agouti is in full view, and it is covered in the red fur which give the Red-Rumped Agouti it's name.
