The La Plata Armadillo in this photo is walking along a red brick road in which many small plants have grown up in the spaces between the bricks. The Armadillo is beige in color and looks similar to a rodent with large armored plates on it's head and back. There are three grooved bands across the back of the Armadillo and it has tuffs of course white hair on the sides of it's face and peeking out from underneath it's back plates.
