Dilophosaurus Up Close

Description

Dilophosaurus was depicted in the film Jurassic Park as spitting poison and having a fringe around its neck. However there is no evidence to suggest Dilophosaurus performed this behavior or had fringe. Dilophosaurus had a number of features similar to birds including a bird-like bone structure, the resting position similar to birds, and left bird-like footprints on land.
