This is a gharial with its mouth open. It has rows of sharp teeth on the top and bottom of its jaw. A gharial looks similar to a crocodile but with a much narrower snout. The skin of the animal is brown, black and light tan with chunky wrinkles. It has a long spiky tail and large claws on its four feet.
